crochet???

i have all the supplies but i need to know how to put the string on the hook?

1. You have to make a slip knot first. Then pull up the thread, twist it once to make a loop, and put that on the hook. Look on the internet, there are TONS of groups for crocheters. Good luck.
2. Make a slip knot and place it on the hook. Pull it until it tightens on the hook, loop a piece of yarn around the hook and pull it throught the loop on the hook.
