What kind of knitting needles can I bring on a plane?
They would probably notice my metal ones and confiscate them, and I can't finger knit so what kind can I bring?

- You can bring metal knitting needles but not as large as the traditional ones. If you still do not feel like you would like to bring those, I don't know if they make plastic ones but if they do get those ones.
- They have no restrictions on the type of knitting needles you can bring on. Just check the referenced site and search for "knitting" to confirm this info.
- Knitting needles of any kind are permitted, per the government's TSA web site. Scroll down and you'll see a chart of what you can bring. Knitting Needles are listed as an item you may bring.
- Knitting is allowed on the planes now. I even traveled with my ENTIRE knitting & crochet needle collection and I got through fine. You can even check TSA's webiste on what you're allowed to bring (found here: http://www.tsa.gov/travelers/airtravel/prohibited/permitted-prohibited-items.shtm#2 ).
- you can get plastic ones. i have pretty sparkley ones that i got from spotlight (craft sort of store).
