Ideas for an Inspiring project to work on to keep from unnecessary eating?
I got this idea from a Weight Watchers magazine. They used knitting or making a photo album as an example but I am not interested in either of those. They say to pick a project that you can do when you are hungry for junk food or to keep from over eating. What should I do? What would you/do you do?

- you could make your own board, card, etc. game, or you could draw, read, or walk, somin like that
- Learn a musical instrument. Learn the proper way to sing. Detail your car. Get organized. Go thru your closets and thin out stuff you haven't worn in years. Get a Sudoku book. It's really addicting and not hard to learn.
- For a while; I'd place an eliptical infront of the TV, and everytime you want to munch, jump on it and RUN!!! lol Good luck!
- This may sound goofy because I'm a 34 year old woman, but I am going through a time that I need distractions or channels every once in a while. (I'm in the process of quitting smoking--37 days smoke free now)! I'm not the artsy type, but I love video games thanks to my son. I went out and purchased myself a handheld game system and 5 games. Now whenever I get the urge to smoke, I just pick up the game for 5-10 minutes or however long I need to be sidetracked for. This has helped immensely with the hand-to-mouth fixation--maybe it would help with junkfood too? Best of luck with whatever you find!
- There are diet pills on the market that help you to stop overeating and phantasising about food. Advantia. They work by suppressing part of the brain responsible for this. You need to be careful with them though because some people become depressed on them. or you could get a sindy doll and design and make a wardrobe for it crochet a blanket, make birthday/christmas cards, make a patchwork quilt, do crosswords or soduko, play scrabble on the computer, log onto yahoo answers.
