Stitches

What do you do with the slip knot at the end of the first row when knitting?

I've been trying to learn to knit, but with not much luck. I have the basic skills down, such as casting on and the knit stitch, but when I get to the end of knitting my first row, I have no idea what to do with the slipknot. What am I supposed to do with it??

  1. Knit it like a regular stitch. When you count how many stitches you cast on include the slip knot as your first stitch. :) Happy knitting! It's my favorite hobby
  2. If you mean that last stitch on the row, just knit it like all the other stitches. Treat it the same as the rest of them. You start the cast on with a slip knot, but I think you're referring to the last stitch on the needle. You just knit it. Happy Knitting.
