How to do a knitting stitch?

I DONT KNOW HOW TO DO A KNITTING STITCH!!!! I DID THE CAST BUT WHATS NEXT?!?!?!?!?!

1. Put casted needle in left hand Poke the bare needle through the hole and pull the loose yarn through like a loop and keep it on the bare needle. Go all the way through then put the needle with all the stiches on back in your left hand and start again. Good luck.
