I need help translating knitting instructions.?
The pattern says "With right side facing, begin and end within 9 stiches of back seam, knit up 18 stitches along heel for ankle strap. Next row, cast on 22, knit to end and turn and cast on 4 stitches." This doesn't seem to make sense to me. I'm making a baby booty with an ankle strap and am so close to being finished. Thanks.

- this may mean that you are in need af another needle to work the center 9 stitches of your pattern then you would need to cast on 22 extra stitches on to that to make the strap so it wraps around the ankle. to make sure you may need to add a few more directions after that . If you have a knitting shop close to you take your pattern to them or you may be able to get away with knitting the sock part and then adding a strap after ward.
