How do I was a knitting machine? What type of wax is best to use?

Ok, it's a 'two fer.' I tend to ask a lot of questions before spending more than $20.00, and these things are over $100.00! Sorry, I didn't check close enough. How do I wax a knitting machine. It should have been clear once the second question was read.

  1. What are you asking? What do you mean? How do I was a knitting machine? That doesn't make any sense.
  2. Try this: http://www.bond-america.com/products/usm.html There's a help link and they'll answer your questions! :)
  3. have had several knitting machines over the years and have never heard of waxing the machine, however I do remember that waxing the yarn helped it to move more freely through the machine and stopped fluff buildup. Beeswax was always the recommended wax to use, similar to waxing the thread used on a sewing machine.
