how long do u have to keep paper stitches on for??

i got them in my lil finger, but they didn't tell me how long to keep them on there for

1. I'd leave them for a few days. But you might want to phone your GP or NHS Direct to ask.

3. they should start to come off after a week or so. You may want to contact your doctor for exact amount of time!
4. Until wound has completely healed. Remove them too soon and you risk the wound reopening
5. I'm assuming "paper stitches" are similar to butterflies or steri-strips. They will fall off automatically. Once the corners start to turn up, use eyebrow scissors (small scissors) to cut the end so they don't snag on anything. Usually by day 5 they should completely be off. If at 5 days they're not completely off, you can remove them.
6. Until they fall off on there own. just a few days
