  1. Soylent Green has one in his apartment... .
  2. have you tried looking on youtube.com I know they have a lot of videos and I have gone our there for knitting help.
  3. Is this the one that the crank is on the side? And it's really old? If it is I have this one and it is really easy to set up. Take at least 6-8 inches of yarn and drop it through the hole of the knitter, one peg before the only colored peg. As each peg rises, you weave the yarn alternately in the front and in the back until you get to that one colored peg. That colored peg is your row count peg so you can keep track. Once you get that foundation row started, keep cranking and make sure your yarn isn't tangled, as it messes up the tension. Keep the yarn loose, but not too loose or the stitches will look crummy. Once you are done, stop weaving the yarn and turn the crank until the stitches come off the pegs. At this point, you should cut about 6-8 off the yarn you were working with and thread a yarn needle. When each stitch comes off the peg entirely, you thread the needle through each hole. Once they are all on your thread, take the work out from the middle of the knitter and pull it closed. If you don't want to pull it closed, adjust the opening on how wide you want it and then secure the yarn end. I hope this helps you. I do have the instruction book for this knitter, I just have to hunt for it. So if this is the same knitter, I can scan the pages and send them to you.
