Where can I find some interesting knitting patterns for lace?

I have had a good old search around the net, and can't find anything I like.

  1. Have you tried your local library. I know mine has some lovely books, and it is much easier to see the fine detail than on the computer screen. Nice to hear of someone who has an interest in this.
  2. GOOGLE
  3. go to the locol knitting wool shop.you,ll find lace hooks etc can be ordered by some dear white haired old lady who,s worked there since we were tots, who,ll know all about knitting &crochet, etc look in your phone book for your nearest if you can,t find one online. or...go to malta for a week ...old ladies dressed in black with wonderful shawls sit on their doorsteps all day chatting and making really old lace... great excuse for a holiday!

  5. I used to knit lace tablecloths and found the patterns in a book at our local craft shop. Also I found some fab ones in the magazine Anna Burda. They take so long but the look of astonishment on peoples faces when you tell them you did it yourself gives you such a buzz. Carry on knitting.
