Anyone know of any free baby knitting patterns using chunky (bulky) yarn?

I've got 300g of Sirdar Chunky which someone has given to me and I want to make something for my 11 month old son - a sweater or something nice and warm. But I just can't find any free online patterns which use chunky (bulky) yarn. Any ideas?

  1. Lionbrand.com or even Caron.com
  2. Here is a fun pattern http://store.payloadz.com/str-asp-i.6867-n._01_Chunky_Baby_Cardigan_PDF_Pattern_from_SweaterBabe_com_Other_Files_-end-detail.html .
  3. **edited to say - I just re-read your question and realized you asked for knitting and I gave you crochet, I'll look again and fix this** see links below You might also want to take a look at patterns you like that use thinner yarn. Make a swatch and see if doing the pattern in a smaller size will work out with your thicker yarn. You might be able to easily adjust the other patterns that way.
  4. I really like lionbrandyarn.com I am not a knitter but they have a tone of free patterns on it.
  5. Go to knitting pattern central, you'll find links there to every free pattern on the net.
