how long do you have to keep stitches in?

i cut my finger yesterday at work , had to go to doctor got four stitches on my left thumb

2. The doc probably told you 7-10 days. It depends on how deep it was. I was waitressing and tripped with a tray of drinks, Then I fell on the broken glass, which cut my forefinger and arm pretty bad. I waited until the 10th day. I'm glad I waited.
3. it kindof epends on how deep the cut was. if it was just a minor cut then not that long. and usually the doc will give u disolvable stiches so they will just go away on theyre own. but they mmoghtof used reg ones 2. but it also depends on if u heal fast or not. so its kindof hard 2 tell u excactly when we think u might get them off without knowing how deep it is n stuff. but just a guiess im sayin 6 days to 7
