How many issues will it take to knit the throw in the art of knitting magazine?
The art of knitting magazine gives you a ball of wool to knit a 15cm by 15cm square to knit a throw / blanket (which appears to cover a double bed). I have 27 issues (therefore 27 squares to knit) so how many issues do you think it will take to knit the throw? Thanks.

- http://www.hachettepartworks.co.uk/product.php?proID=1166786664 There are 90 issues. In general with these types of magazine it is significantly cheeper to buy books and materials than it is to subscribe. There are loads of ways to learn to knit. Have a look at http://threadbare.spaces.live.com/ for ideas, books and links.
- 15x15 cm sounds like a pretty small square. half a foot, I think. I'm an american, so my experience with metric is pretty skimpy. To cover a double bed that would be like 4 feet by 6 or seven feet, right? or 130x200 or 230 cm. or 8x12 squares, which is 96 squares. That might be kind of big for a throw. Or possibly just right. But that's a lot of issues.
- You will need at least 108 squares at 15cm each. This is the minimum and will only sit on top of the bed - if you want the throw to hang over the edges, you would need to make another 84 squares which would give you a 30cm overhang on all sides. Hope that helps
- the subscription is 90 parts so im presumbing it is 90 http://www.hachettepartworks.co.uk/product.php?proID=1166786664
