Embroidery Machine card question?

I own a Brother Disney embroidery machine and I tried to place a memory card in the slot (Using the Manual) when I turn the machine back on the LCD screen is lit up but blank. Does anyone know what to do! Any suggestions would be appreciated! Thanks in advance I bought the card on ebay and it said that it could be used in all Brother machines! It has on it Babylock/brother/deco & compatible card.pes. Thanks for your response Thanks all, I have turn off the maching and tried several times. It is one that already has things on it. Do you mean the card is demagnetized? How do I know if it is?

1. Has the card been formatted for your machine?
2. Your card my be demagnetized. Contact a dealer to see if you board is bad. Have you tried turning off the machine then turning it back on so it can reconfigure itself.
3. Is it a memory card that you write your own files to? Or is it one that has permanent designs (pre-programmed from one of the big companies)? If it is one that you write your own files to, have any files been written to it? If not, then there are no files for your machine to read, so the screen won't have any to show.
4. perhaps you have a newer card that ,that machine will not recognize. OR could be that the design isnt really in the card. Try taking it back to the card reader and resend it to the card.
