husqvarna viking embroidery cards?

hi everyone i just bought a husvarna viking scanidinavia 400 sewing machine and i cant seam to find any of the embroidery cards, i have the programable card thing that does not work right for sum reason?? ia would like to purchase the cards, any help is greatly appricated, also do you know if the disney ones for the brother machine will work in mine? thak you very much teresa

1. No the Disney from Brother will not work. Only the Viking card will. Any desgin you buy must have the HUS format on it. Have you downloaded anything on to your programmable card?? It is blank till you "write" some design on to it. Any design you use must be HUS for it to work on your machine. I have downloaded many free designs from the Internet in HUS form. You should of gotten free lesson on your machine. You really need to take a Viking embroidery machine class. There is so much to learn. How to hoop, stabilizers, thread, needles it all makes a difference in embroidering a design correctly and without headaches.
2. brother cards won.t work. Try your local husqvarna dealer or e-bay.
3. You need a Viking card writer (it's a white thing that plugs into your USB port) to get embroidery files onto your card using the 4D Organizer software. You can find other cards (already programmed) at your Viking dealer.
