Will Brother PE Basic bought from America work on my UK Brother machine?

I am looking to buy some PED Basic software and blanks cards for my Brother PE150 embroidery machine. It is almost half the price in America than it is here and I was wondering if it will work okay. I know that the actual brother design cards bought from America won't work.

1. They will not work. If the american embrodery card does not work, its the same format when its written to the card
