why do I keep getting stitches in my side?
I went to barcelona last week.My parents didn't want to get the metro so we walked everywhere.I say we walked 4 or 5 km.since then everytime I walk I'm getting terrible stitches in my side usually in my right.Even if i walk slow or fast i get it in less than a minute!why am i getting them?did I pull something?but most importanly will it go away?

- People commonly get stitches when they eat or drink something, followed by intense activity such as walking... maybe this applies to you
- This happened to me as well - I was simply dehydrated, so I beefed up my water consumption and it hasn't happened since!
- I'm glad that someone else has this problem, too! Well, you know what I mean. Whenever I run, I get these horrible, and, very painful stitches all on one side. I don't even eat anymore when I know that I have to run because I figured that food would be the culprit! But it's not! I don't know what to do to prevent it....if you find the answer, please tell me, too!
- do you run a lot if so its because when you run you use parts of your lungs witch you havent used in a while
