Where to get plastic iron on adhesive wrap for embroidery (to cover the loose stitches on the inside) of a hat?
I sewed on a design onto a hat using just a pin and thread, and I need to get iron on adhesive (the kind they use for embroidered patches I guess) so cover the loose stitches on the inside of the hat so that when I wear it the stitches do not move. Where can I get this adhesive wrap and how would be the best way of putting it on the inside of a hat.

- Embroidery doesn't move around. I've never heard of doing such stabilization after the fact -- and I've been embroidering for about 55 years. What *is* often done, though, is to stabilize the fabric before embroidery, either with a stabilizer that stays in or one that can be removed when the embroidery is finished.
- I'm not sure why your stitches are loose on the inside; they shouldn't be if you embroidered it properly. However, you can use a fusible interfacing (you iron it on) at the fabric store.
- There is fusible soft mesh sold by Arlington Sewing Center that I use on infant items as a backing for my embroidered items. Gives a soft touch and would possibly work for your project.
