Best places to buy crafting supplies?

I am wondering where the best places are to buy crafting supplies for things like yard/needlework, wax for candle making and homemade balms, all sorts of actaul crafting stuff. Not yard balls for little kids, or popcicle sticks. Any answers would be great either online or in person. sometimes big name stores like Joannes and Michaels can be kind of spendy. thank you!

1. Hobby Lobby is my favorite craft store. They have an incredible selection for many different types of crafts, hobbies, and home decor. Their website is http://shop.hobbylobby.com/default.aspx They usually have a coupon for 40% off one regular priced item which usually creates a pretty good sale.
