What year is my Clark's Big Ball of size 20 Crochet Thread?

According to the label it was originally sold for 55 cents. It is a red and gold label, Clark's Big Ball size 20 thread, 450 years "Boilfast". Any ideas as to the year? I understand after 1949, Clark's became Coats and Clark's, so that's all I have to go on.
