Stitches

Can a tailor take out stitches design on a pair of jeans?

I have a pair of American Eagle jeans that fits perfectly, the only thing i hate is the eagle stitches on the backpocket of my jeans, which i would much rather prefer to be blank instead. Can a tailor do that? is it a simple job?

  1. The stitches can be taken out, but there will be a residual pattern left behind that won't go away. When jeans get washed they fade, and anything underneath stitching will not fade very much. It would look silly, trust me.
  2. You can ask, but personally I think it's better when there's a design like that, people know where my clothes are from lol. But to take out the stitching you'd probably have to patch it back up again to look semi normal; not soo easy because it might not look perfect.
