How much is an old knitting machine worth?

My mom has an old knitting machine she wants to sell. I don't know much about it but its very large and all still works. I know this isn't much to go on, but does anyone have any guesses on what it might be worth? Thanks! The case says Brother Electronic KH-940, not sure if this helps at all! Thanks for your answer!

1. Well I really couldnt tell you, but if you could say what brand and model it is, then I could. But in today's economy you could probably squeeze around 200 dollars out of it if you get lucky.
2. Do a google search for the machine type...depending on the condition it may be worth up to $1000.
3. Online the Brother KH940 is going for 600-1500 dollars. That is for a complete package, with all parts and a refurbished machine.Selling to a resaler, you might get half of that .Selling as a private party, you could get in that range, but need to minus the cost of your advertising, time, effort and condition of the machine. If Mom is part of the local knitting scene in your area, putting word out at local yarn shops should attract interest. Her ability to explain the machine's qualities will determine the price.
