Stitches

how long will this stinging/burning last from the stitches i received?

i had a surgery today to remove a mole (FOREHEAD) and i got stitches.. at first i didnt feel nothing but now it stings and burns. HOW LONG DOES THIS NORMALLY LAST? also some bleeding involved but i read thatas normal.
