What magazines regularly offer knitting patterns?
Apart from the actual knitting mags (which i find hugely expensive to buy), are there any still doing free pull out patterns and if so which ones are they? I do not want to download....I want the leaflets themselves, thankyou

- Look on ebay, there are always loads on there.
- Lots of women's mags still give knitting patterns but some are a bit old fashioned. Go to W.H.Smith and look thru the mags on display. Libraries have a section with current magazines and periodicals. You could look thru the mags there and only go and buy any that have a pattern you like.
- No, there are not any women's magazines still doing pull-out patterns, at least in the USA. Yarn is expensive, and you buy that. If a magazine has patterns you want to make, then it is worth buying. If not, don't buy it. Free is not always the best solution.
- Woman's Weekly always have a knitting pattern or two every week - it's only about 80/90p. They also do Knitting specials every now and then which is all knitting patterns and it usually includes patterns of children's tv characters - it is about £3.99 Prima sometimes have knitting patterns, but they seem to do more sewing patterns. People's Friend sometimes has knitting patterns too - it's usually under £1. Just have a little look at the magazines aimed at older women - they do have nice patterns!
