Are there good alternatives to the embroidery software that comes with the Singer Futura?

I bought my wife the singer and it seems to me that there has got to be better software out there for controling the machine and for digitizing fonts and pictures.

1. I too have the Futura system. Although I have not used the Autopunch, I do have the Hyperfont software and I love it. If you are wanting something other than these softwares. There are a couple that I am familiar with. SewWhat is a software program that you can use to create/digitize fonts and I beleive pictures. I know I've used it to resize and combine designs, etc. There is also a software called EMBIRD it is great too! SewWhat seems a bit more user friendly to me, but the people I know who have it - rave about it too! I hope this gives you a couple of options to look into. Jenny
