Stitches

i was wandering if ther was anyone who can help me i like doing embroidery?

but can't afford to buy a digitizing programme to do my embroidery as I am only on a disability pension and trying to raise three little children. Was wandering if any one was getting rid of one or know where I can get one for free not trial ones.

  1. Have you tried mapping out a design on graph paper instead of using digital, or do you have a program that allows you to convert clip art or images to a graph? You could also print images you like onto graph paper. It takes a bit longer to do, but the results would be the same and much cheaper and the paper comes in different sized grids. I would never buy anything like that because I never have the money to spend, either. This is why I come up with my own way of doing things. Hope this helps you.
  2. i assume you are talking about machine embroidery. there are a couple of yahoo groups i belong to where people sell things they no longer need or want. all items are sewing and craft related. i have seen a couple of used digitizing programs go fairly cheap. it would be something good to learn on. the links are: http://groups.yahoo.com/group/SewItsForSale/ and http://groups.yahoo.com/group/SewFree/?yguid=102878935 you can also post on these groups what you are looking for. good luck.
