Do you believe that scars happen as a punishement of some kind?
The last 2 years I have been getting scars everywhere and bad ones to.. I never used to have scars, but now it seems I am just getting them all the time..I have one on my leg that had stitches last year, another one on my elbow that had stitches last year, 2 burns 1 on my hand one on my arm from last year, now I have one on my hand..They are all bad scars to, and big.. Setaiain, wow, that wasn't very nice.

- Read the 52 curses, starting in Deuteronomy 28:16 and going down to bottom of page. Look at curse #12: "And lord will smite thee with the botch of Egypt and the emerods and the itch and the scab, whereof thou canst not ever be healed." .
- You're really suggesting that scars are some kind of divine punishment? And not simply how your body works......?
- That means you're an accident prone person.just be cautious in all your undertakings.
- no. they happen also when you accidentally scrape yourself against something. an accident never needs any punishment. if a blind man trips over a rock and gets a scar on his face from the fall, is he being punished? no.
- I don't know, but I'd appreciate it if you stay the hell away from me. You're unlucky! I could get hit by a bus that was intended for you. edit: sorry....just joking....I didn't mean it to sound nasty. I should say, scars on a chick are hot.
- No lol, scars form as a part of the healing process, you have serious issues if you believe healing is a punishment
- Scars are just a token of experience. They can be real physical scars, on your elbow or your leg. They can be spiritual scars, after you have experienced some unrequited love for example, or suffered some bad injustice. I am not sure which ones are aching most. But yes, another answerer has rightly said that scars are a healing process. It would be scary to consider the ability to heal as amounting to a punishment. So the answer is certainly no.
- To answer your question, I'm going to go to an extreme first: Tattoos are "permanent reminders of a tempory feeling". They are simply "colored scars". Well, if tattoos, i.e. color scars are permanent reminders, might other scars on our bodies, and those inside in our hearts as well, serve as reminders to a pain long ago. There is no doubt that scars serve as reminders. Sometime those reminders are no big deal and other times they are VERY painful. The scars in our hearts tend to be the most painful. But here's the good news. When Jesus was getting started on His rescue mission for mankind, He read in Luke 4 from the Scriptures. He read this..."I've come to heal the broken hearted and set the captives free". You see, scars (inside and out) can be healed. Don't see them as a punishment. See them for what they are...a reminder. And if they happen to hurt, then realize that Jesus came to heal that hurt. iamnotbut...I know [the Great] I AM.
- Go and see a doctor.
