how to take care of stitches on top of foot dropped computer hard drive on it?
I would ask the doctor who put them in but he said if you can put a tatoo on your ankle you can take a couple of stitches with out feeling any pain. I did not ask anything more. You could tell he did not like doing his work and I didn't want to upset him any further. I just ask if the surrounding area of stitches is still red and buffy should I worry thank you for you advice I think

- let it heal, and take em out in a few days. or reinstall software so you have guts to ask your doctor.
- No, I think youhave a lot to worry about...that could be a major infection and it needs medical attention, and like RIGHT NOW! OK? It could turn to something far worse...foot infections are dangerous! Much more dangerous than infections elsewhere in the body, due to the lack of bloodflow that far from the heart. I would get an attorney and sue that doctor for malpractice AFTER you get this infection under control. Now, don't waste any more time and get going to a DIFFERENT doctor.
- You should leave the stitches in for approximately 10 days. Some puffiness and colour is to be expected but if it looks like it's getting worse (not better) and there is any discharge or pus or it looks like the wound is not sealing/healing correctly then get yourself back to the Doctor pronto! Removing stitches should be relatively easy - use a mild liquid disinfectant suitable for external human use. Clean the stitches carefully - ideally with a cottonball soaked in the disinfectant. Using a small but sharp pair of scissors gently snip through a stitch against one side of the knot. Using tweezers or similar, grasp the knot and gently draw the stitch through your skin. It may need a gentle tug to free it (but avoid tearing any new skin if you can). There may be a small (less than a drop) amount of blood. It may sting.
- Who cares about the foot. How's the hard drive? (LOL) Good Luck
