Stitches

I had a mole on my face removed and got stitches, now the area is red and puffy... will it scar that way?

It was removed 3 days ago by a plastic surgeon. I am worried that the scar will heal the same way that it looks now. I only have 5 more days to keep the stitches in so I am scared that it is going to look this way when the stitches come out. Does anyone have any experience with facial mole removal?

1. I bet your surgeon already told you that it will heal fine, but you are still not satisfied with the answer from the professional physician that you trusted for that procedure, and instead you ask unknown people for advice. Very smart.
