- I have used CrossStitch Professional and Stitch Craft Gold. I like the look and feel of CrossStitch Professional, but the Stitch Craft Gold lets me import pictures and makes them into designs. I really like this process, but you have to start with a really small picture or the design it creates gets really large.
- There are many different programs you can learn to use. Among them are: Pe Design Generations Viking Professional Embird DesignShop Embroidery Software Fancy Works Creative DRAWings 4 Pro Embroidery Digitizing Software Personally, I use Pe Design and I really like it. The only other one I've used was the embird free trial and I found it a little awkward. There are others, but these are the only names I could remember.
- I use Embird. There is also PE from Brother, Bernina has software, Husqvarna too. I'm not sure what Elna's is.
- The world's leading software for embroidery currently is Wilcom ES "http://www.wilcom.com.au/". There are other big players in the market but Wilcom is the biggest. And no-one has been a serious threat to them in the last decade (their still on top of the heap.) One to watch though in my view is "i-cliqq"... this software has not even been released yet but from what i have seen and heard of it: ("http://www.i-cliqq.com/" there is some decent videos on this site...) it is definitely one to be watching.... its obviously a very small operation compared to wilcom but some of the things they are doing will shake things up in a big way... keep your eyes peeled.
- Goodness, I have never even heard of these other software programs. When we purchased the Tajima machine, we purchased Pulse software, Illustrator level. It can do everything. It can do a lot of complicated digitizing. I can even digitize to my old Bernina Deco machine. (course, I need to Little Max to copy to my memory card) www.pulsemicro.com
