Do dry cleaners stitch up clothing as well?
According to my Dad, Dry Cleaners also repair ripped items of clothing with holes etc. Was just wondering if this was true?

- yes
- As well as stitching up their customers you mean?
- Each dry-cleaners has different services, just ask them. Some do, most don't. If you have something expensive then take it directly to the tailers.
- The chain I use,Johnsons,do do repairs but you have to show them what is needed so they can quote you a price accordingly.I use them a lot for normal dry cleaning but also for shortening garments or renewing zips & they are excellent
- Yes they do. They do hems even. At least here in Canada. They do all major repairs. I had a dry cleaner's make long sleeves short out of a baby jacket hoodie for my dog. How's that for a great dry cleaner?
- Some do look up invisible mending
- yep, they will do all kinds of repairs and alterations too..
- Some certainly do, some are also attached to shoe repairers as well. Depends on how your local services are set up.
