- so where are you? do you want to go to a store, WalMart, JoAnn's, A.C.More, all these have yarn on the shelves, but to order yarn try Herrschners or Yarnmarket (both dotcom's) all my best.
- Crochet magazine sellers of yarns for crochet projects? Those will always be the most expensive yarns. Depending on what you want, Walmart still sells many types of yarn. I've also used "knitting yarns" for my crochet projects. Lion brand is a good company and middle priced. Knit picks usually has some sort of sale going on. But, I have my Interweave Press Crochet magazine right here so, here goes with the list in there: www.bluemoonfiberarts.com www.blueskyalpacas.com www.brownsheep.com www.coatsandclark.com www.elann.com www.fairmountfibers.com www.halcyonyarn.com www.knittingfever.com www.lionbrand.com www.lornaslaces.net www.malabrigoyarn.com www.soysilk.com www.tahkistacycharles.com www.yarn.com CANADA- Diamond Yarn INTERNATIONAL yarn sellers www.louet.com www.patonsyarns.com If you're going to order on line anyway, you could actually order from any of these sites about one or two weeks before you are going to head for home... But, right now there are some amazing prices from Knit Picks or www.knitpicks.com. They have some very nice Super-wash Merino yarns as low as $1.49 per skein. If you're not sure, super-wash means that they fiber is treated before making it into yarn so that it will not shrink, stretch or lose it's shape in any way. If you wanted to look up a site and check the prices now, I would look at Knit picks. I just got a whole bunch of their yarn about 36 skeins for less than $55.00... Good luck with the yarn that you need and with the project that it's for!! Blessings to you. Anne ps. If you need any yarn, or spin your own and need fiber feel free to toss me an email, as I have a lot of fiber, and would rather give it to another spinner than to sell it out...(=
- If you don't want to buy yarn online, Michael's has a selection usually larger than Walmart's.
- Take a look at the site I have listed below, they have some.
