What's a really great way to learn how to crochet?
I've tried to learn on my own, and I've even gotten my sister to show me... but I still don't get it. I've seen YouTube videos and they confused me too. =( Is there anything else that you could show me that would be helpful? Thank you!

- Hi Koko Crocheting is really easy - even I can do it. I've noticed that people who are good at knitting have difficulty in coping with crochet work. Start off with a medium sze crochet hook and medium width wool. The secret is that the hook does all the work as you loop it through and pull the wool through the loop. Go to your local craft shop if this doesn't work and ask them to show you. Good luck and best wishes. PS. I'm hopeless at knitting!
- I did pretty good with a beginners book that I bought my daughter a couple of years ago. It came out of a Woodsong children's gift catalouge. The instructions were basic and the illustrations were very helpful.
- Go to a school of art where they teaches old ways of crocheting.Sometime in the villages there are still people that teaches the way to crochet.
- Videos won't work. You're seeing things backwards. Go to a knitting shop. They ALL have classes.
- I learned from illustrated books. Very easy hoby to learn once you get the terminology. YO - yarn over (wrap yarn around hook), SC - single crochet. DC - double crochet... http://search.yahoo.com/search?p=how+to+crochet&fr=ush-ans&pvid=FRGuukgeui83trGVSw_5DQrrQIrni0tPDVoACxzW
