how long till stitches heal after labor?

i only had about 3 or 4 stitches and it was a tear on the inside from labor. i was just wondering how long till they will heal, because when i go to the bathroom it burns very badly. it been a week since i got them.

1. about 6 wks til its fully healed. probably a few more days til it stops burning.
2. I was cut and had stitches. I was in horrible pain for about 3 weeks, still very sore at 8 weeks, and it was close to a year before I felt almost back to normal down there. I hope that your recovery will be easier than mine. Just keep using the squirt bottle, taking the sitz baths and taking it easy.
3. wont sting for much longer maybe one more week or a few days i had to get a jug n pour water down there while i had a pee try that
4. mines took about 2 months.... but they should have given you a spray bottle and some tucks to help ease the pain... the squirt bottle was my best friend! lol i just sprayed as i used the bathroom
5. after about 2 weeks the pain simmers down however it takes a while to heal, maybe 6 weeks total
