I need to make ( knit, hand sew or crochet) 4 stuffed animals?
My little cousin is coming over Sunday and today is Wednesday and I want to make her a stuffed animal. Preferably by knitting or crocheting. . . But if those fail I'd like to hand sew one. Maybe even how to make a doll. Then I'm leaving on the 19th and it's the tenth to go to my friend's house in North Carolina. I'll be bored in the car ( 12 hour ride for me ) and I'd like to make the girl either a stuffed animal or a doll and the boy a stuffed animal, or something little boys like. They are 4 and 5. Please give me ideas or links ( I'd prefer ideas ) on how to make these. And then before I make those I need to make one for me. ^_^ I need a test run. ;P

- try googling "amigurumi patterns". There are all kinds of cute ones. You can join a website called ravelry.com- there are tons of patterns and forums where you can find instructions and ask questions if you need help.
- Besides soft toys [to which I've provided some links below], how about knitting little cushions or pillows for them? And shape them accordingly. eg. for the girl, doll-shaped & for the boy Superman shaped...And it would be more fun [considering their age], if you could adorn them with some bells, beads & sequins - colors & sound always please little kids ! You could paint with glitter too. http://amigurumipatterns.blogspot.com/se... has 13 adorable and fairly simple patterns.
