Where can I buy knitting needles on the high street?
I need to buy knitting needles and wool fairly quickly so don't want to order over the internet. Where can I buy them? I looked at Argos and they don't seem to sell wool and I'm not really sure where else to look. Thanks I've also checked charity shops and tescos. No luck.

- Depends where you live. If you go to www.abakhan.co.uk you can find a list of all of their stores, they sell yarns, crafts and fabrics but they are mainly in the North West. Good Luck.
- Check your yellow pages if you have them there for craft stores also maybe someone put them in a thrift shop.
- Look for the nearest Wilkinsons Store. They are great for knitting needles at the lowest prices. I had a similar problem and almost gave up before I found them there. If you aren't near a store, you can buy online very safely with them. I use them loads and a happy to recommend their service to you. Happy clicking. lol
- haberdashery shops, some department stores eg debenhams , local markets sometimes sell them or maybe argos?
- hi hobbycraft has loads (will post the link below)
- i know where to get needles from a high person on a street
- in the uk there is usually a wool shop of some sort.try Original Factry Shop,Poundstretcher, and some pound shops.
- If you are a member of a freecycle group put a wanted on there. There are probaly loads of people with needles they don't want. Or try your local department store may well have a knitting/sewing department. Otherwise if you can't find a craft or wool shop try wilkinsons. or Poundland and the like.
