How do you knit a scarf on the innovation knitting machine ?

I know how to knit a hat just fine on it but the scarf is giving the trouble . Can anyone find a how to video on how to knit a scarf on the innovation machine . i check youtube but know of them show how to . I did that but the ends don't knitt tight its very lose and your hand could fit through it .

1. you have to crank handle one way, to make a row, then crank it the other way to make the next row. repeat until the scarf is the length you want.
