Is there a sewing/ embroidery machine compatible with mac computers?

I'm looking for a sewing and embroidery machine that is compatible with an apple computer.

2. The embroidery machine is a stand-alone computer that reads designs in the format of the machine. When you go to a website to download a free design, or create a design on your personal computer, it comes in the format of the embroidery machine (PES JEF HUS VIP, etc) and not of the computer. The only thing you need to worry about is whether your embroidery program or digitizing program can be run on and is compatible to the MAC operating system. The embroidery/sewing machine does not need to be MAC compatible as it runs on its own system and essentially you are only using the computer as a very large USB to transfer and store the files.
3. I am relatively new to machine ebroidery and I also have a Mac laptop. When I was questioning the computer people about this same question they all had the same answer " there are No sewing/embroidery machines that are compatable with a MAC. The problem is not the machine it is the software that runs the embroidery programs.All of the embroidery programs a PC based and that is the problem. In order to run them on a Mac you need to install a program called Virtual PC onto your Mac, then the PC-based programs should run. Some say that with the intel processors in the latest versions of Mac you shouldn't have a problem with reading the Pc programs. Have you talked with anyone from Apple/Mac about this question.?
