How much to have stitches removed?

My dog is getting her stitches removed for an injury at the vet in 2 weeks. Does the vet usually charge for getting that removed?

1. I've never had to pay for it - its included in the fee you already paid.
2. In the UK the stitches coming out would be part of the package and would not be charged for. Hope this is the case wherever you are.
3. It shouldnt cost anything.
4. The vet that preformed the surgery should take the stitches out for free, along with a recheck of the surgery site. Good vets want to see their patients after surgery to follow up. Your fee for the surgery should have included it. Of course, you could always call the vet and ask if they intend to charge you...
5. No charge if we put them in. If someone else put them in then we charge $5.
6. The *shouldn't* charge for that. It's a follow-up to the initial surgery which you've already paid for.
7. I never have. It's always been included with the cost of the surgery. Hope your dog is better.
8. call the vet and ask. if they do charge it isn't too hard to take out yourself.
