Can I sell my knitting pattern...?

I knitted a sweater, and it is of my own design. Can I sell the pattern to a knitting magazine or book or website? How would I go about doing that?

1. check out craftster.org they have a section on their forum where they show you how to sell patterns and that kind of thing. Hope I helped!
2. You can sell anything crafty on a site called etsy. I love looking at all of the homemade stuff. One of my favorite sellers sells patterns that she has created.
