Can punch needle embroidery floss be used for other kinds of embroidery? How about with embroidery machines?

1. You can use any kind of embroidery thread or floss with hand embroidery, but embroidery machines use a special machine embroidery thread that can be purchased through a fine sewing store. Be sure to check with the manufacturer's guidelines for your embroidery machine before choosing any thread.
