Stitches

When is it a good time to go running so i won't get a stitch?

So i decided to start running to get fit but i get a stitch very often, so could someone please give me some tips on how to reduce my chances of getting a stitch, such as what time of day or how many hours after eating is the best time to go running? Thanks.

  1. Be sure that you are eating healthier foods, as they will give you less of a problem when running. Some people can eat and run 30 minutes later, some people need three hours. Non-citrus fruits like bananas and apples give you significant energy while taking it easy on your stomach. If you run early in the morning, you might be able to get away without eating, if you've had a healthy and filling dinner the night before. You will have try out different routines for awhile before you find something that works for you.
