- If you haven't crocheted before, this is not the place to give you a whole lesson on that. You really should take a beginner crochet class at your LYS* or other place. But it appears you are also a beginner knitter if you are getting uneven stitches. You do not rely on crochet to fix uneven stitches. But there are several ways to do this. You have to complete your knitting first. You can then use another colour, coordinating or contrast, to do the edging all the way around your piece. You can use the same yarn, just continuing from your last knit stitch as the first loop for the crochet. If you are a crocheter, this will all be obvious when you get to that point. Go to your LYS and ask them there. That is what they are there for! Use them. * - local yarn store
- 1st: Learn to crochet. Go to first link, read the instructions and watch the videos. OR 2nd: Go to 2nd link and it will give you directions on how to single crochet on the edge of a knitted item.
- Put crochet edgings into your computer and find one you like. Then go back into your computer and put in crochet instructions and look for the stitch you will use. You can use the same yarn or get a complimentary color. If you get stuck, e-mail me.
