Why does my knitting yarn twist while I'm knitting?

It happens with every piece of yarn. It twists while you are holding it.

1. Do you use yarn that the yarn comes out from the end of the skein or it comes off as you turn the skein ? If I get some that I have to turn the skein to unravel it I roll it into a ball & that always helps.
