Does anyone have an easy knitted ripple-stitch afghan pattern?
I usually like to crochet my afghans, but I really would like to do a ripple stitch and for some reason knitting the pattern is easier than crocheting. Thanks!

- I usually crochet this type of thing too, but I also prefer knitting. I have not seen a knitted pattern for a ripple pattern afghan. If you search for something like "ripple afghan pattern knit", you will find a bunch of links, and there may be a good pattern there. I usually click on Images on the top of the screen so that I can see pictures of the afghans, and then I click on the ones I want to look at more closely. Another source of free patterns would be your local library. They usually have a whole shelf full of books with knitting patterns, all free to you. I hope this helps.
- What you want is a feather and fan afghan! It's a really easy and easy-to-memorize knitting pattern, and it looks somewhat similar to a ripple afghan. http://www.thedietdiary.com/blog/lucia/1069 http://www.jenipurr.com/knitpurr-gallery/blankets/feather_and_fan_afghan.html I tried to find a couple that had both patterns and pictures, but they're all the same basic thing!
