- spaceland the troubadour hotel cafe hollywood palladium whisky a go go roxy with those bands the knitting factory is your best bet
- Good suggestions so far. How about the SOMA in San Diego? I'm not too sure if it's too big of a venue for you. Hmmm. I think it's pretty intimate, but that's subjective obviously.
- Chain Reaction is my fav. Its in anaheim, alot of rock, punk, metal shows there every day of the week. In LA there is House of Blues, Roxy, Whiskey, The Troubadour, Viper Room, Palladium, Henry Fonda Theatre. In SD all i know of is SOMA and the House of Blues www.allages.com for a list of all the upcoming shows at Chain Reaction
- Just FYI, the Knitting Factory is closing on October 25th. They are looking for a place to MAYBE relocate to. If you want to journey to Long Beach we have a few live music venues. Alex's Bar, Que Sera, The Prospector, Dipiazza Restaurant & Lounge, Puka Bar and The Pike Bar & Fish Grill. They all book alternative or punk bands. In the LA area, Echoplex, Troubador and Spaceland are some cool places to go. Lucha va Voom and the Los Angeles Derby Dolls have bands before, at intermission and after their bouts. Very fun!
- Try Wonderhaus, San Diego’s newest event center. Wonderhaus is unique in that it is actually a historic hotspot. Wonderhaus used to be the stomping grounds for Wonderbread back in the day. The old factory has been stripped down to its original form, then infused with all the event necessities (lights, lounge furnishings, dj beats, gourmet catering, you name it). Wonderhaus is located at 171 14th Street (Downtown).
