How to remove dissolvable stitches in my mouth?
I had my wisdom teeth out thursday and my stitches are still present. Some are getting long and loose but i can't get them out with salty water. I have some random stitches left over and i'm pretty sure my mouth has healed. How can i remove the stitches/sterilize instruments?

- Tweezers. Pull gently. If they have dissolved enough, they will pull right out. Do not pull the knot back through the tissue though!
- Usually they break off or dissolve enough that they can be taken out or removed easily
- I just had my wisdom teeth taken out on Friday. Some of the stitches started to feel loose the very next day, but they didn't start coming out until last night. I know the feeling, but I think it's best to just let them come out on their own. It'll ensure that your sockets are properly healed.
