Knitting Help????? casting on?

ok im learining to cast on and when i began to knit i get mt first knit through and it gets wider and wider what am i doing wrong please help

1. Try Hobbies & Crafts - I know there are a lot of people who can knit well and can advise you. This is Sculpture, which is something completely different.
2. You are most likely not tightening each loop equally. when you pull the stitch in make sure you pull it tight but not to tight. try to pull each stitch as tight as the last if you don't , they will most likely get wider. Hope this helps.
