roald dahl day - charlie and chocolate factory?

my son is having a roald dahl day at school tomorrow and he as to dress up as a character and we picked charlie out of charlie and chocolate factory, with the whole short weekend cord trousers shirt and knitted jumper, just wonder if anyone else had any ideas what i could add to the costume so he looks like charlie

1. you could make a golden ticket so that everyone knows he's the winner. Make one out of foil :D Oh and some dirt on his face so that he looks poor, cause charlie was too :)
2. carry a whole basket full of willy wonkas chocolate/candy. plus the golden ticket which was mentioned in the first answer
3. hmm the golden ticket idea is very smart and make him go to school with a basket full of chocolate. oh and make his hair look messier and smudge it up with dirt
