  1. i think that's a really creative idea, but honestly i don't think you would get much business, unless someone was in a rush for a birthday idea and didn't have anytime to. but most people would just do it themselves i think. you could make a book on scrapbooking and sell that. if i were to buy a scrapbook though, i would probably pay from 20 to 30 dollars depending on the quality. this is because you have to put a lot of paper and time into scrapbooks.
  2. I think it is a pretty good idea. You can try getting business by talking to people that hold wedding receptions or birthday parties, such as banquet halls. See if you can leave a flyer or business card because these are the people that will likely want your service. Price depends on how much it costs you and how long it takes you to make it. If there are a lot of pictures and different elements you add to the scrapbook then you should charge more. Try breaking it down by cost and time first and then how much you want to make per hour.
  3. Scrapbooking for others is a viable business as not everyone has the time, desire or creativity to scrapbook yet want to preserve memories. Unfortunately, many people don't realize the cost involved and are willing to pay the price necessary to make a decent profit. Depending on how many embellishments you use and how much time you put it into are just some of the factors involved in pricing. For a 20 page 8 1/2 by 11 scrapbook I would charge a minimum of $100. (and that is cheap)
  4. go for it but you'll not make much. What I'd do if I was you is buy all your local papers for a year. Cut out all the pictures of the local sport stars. Make a really nice scrapbook for each one - reall nice. Then approach the individual stars and see if they would be interested in buying their own book as a record of their sporting year. I think they'd pay up to £50 for this if it was done professionally.
